Composition: Mineral pack containing algin for facial and body applications.

INCI: Solum Diatomeae, Algin, Calcium Sulfate, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate.

Properties: Unlike the alga based mask which appears green due to its spirulina content, the white base modelage only includes the algae component algin, a polysaccharide which causes the gel-like consistency of the base modelage. The base modelage can be applied just like the alga based mask. In dry condition the modelage may be enriched with powdered agents like e.g. pomegranate in order to achieve supplementary effects. The base modelage may be applied on the facial skin as well as other body parts. It:

• increases the skin hydration
• improves the penetration of active agents
• tightens the skin
• has oil absorbing effects and is the ideal mask for customers who object hot modeling masks.

Underneath the mask, active agents and base creams can be applied.

Application: The base modelage is mixed with lukewarm water in a 1:1 ratio, i.e. 1 level measuring spoon base modelage powder with 1 level measuring spoon water = 50 ml. The modelage is applied generously on the skin. One measuring spoon base modelage will cover an area of about twice the size of a hand. The modelage will harden out after a little while and after about 20 minutes it may be removed completely in form of a flexible film without leaving any sticky residues on the skin. One application requires about 15 to 60 gram mask powder as follows:

• hand/facial pack: 15 g with 50 ml of lukewarm water
• face-neck-neckline: 30 g with 100 g of lukewarm water
• back treatment: 45 g with 150 ml of lukewarm water
• cellulite pack: 45 g with 150 ml of lukewarm water

Cabinet treatment (facial pack):

1. cover up hairline
2. apply active agent concentrates on specified skin areas
3. apply DMS^®-base cream, oil or massage oil
4. mix mask powder with water
5. quickly apply prepared mask onto skin, neck and neckline
   using a spatula. Spare eye and mouth parts
6. leave on for about 20 minutes
7. remove the gel-like modelage and dab off potential residues
   with moist compresses

Shelf life: 36 months at appropriate storage conditions unopened.
